Christy Barrett & Co is a firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors established in Mallow, Co. Cork in 2013.

As Members of Chartered Accountants Ireland, we have access to the latest developments in Taxation, Audit & Accountancy which assists in providing relevant and up to date support to small and medium enterprises in a practical, timely and efficient manner.

Background of Principal

Originally from Ballyhooly in North Cork, Christy now resides in Banteer, Co. Cork with his wife, Noranne and their three children, Orlaith, Cliona and Eimear.

Christy graduated from UCC with a B. Comm degree in 1987. He then became an apprentice with Edward Sheehan & Co in Fermoy from 1987 to 1991 where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991.

In 1991 he moved to work for John J Sheahan & Co., Chartered Accountants, in Coachford, Co. Cork until 1993 when they opened an office in Mallow, which Christy managed until 2013 when this company merged with FDC Accountants and Tax Department.

Over the years, Christy has obtained extensive experience in dealing with and advising businesses of all sizes in all sectors and has obtained a great insight into the demands and requirements of business owners in the wide spectrum from business start-up to the more established business.
